Mixing Props

Hi Guys - has anyone tried using a pair of stock props and a pair of MAS props?

What are your thoughts ?

I would not recommend it, but it should fly ok.

Yeah, it will likely fly OK if the blades are the same dimension, but it will probably tax the motors unevenly unless the pairs are matched perfectly.

one why would you, are you thinking it would give you some unheard of advantage?
two given the solo esc issues no I would not recommend it

I was asking the question not from gaining any advantage point of view. In my situation - due to some bad landings, I have the following props left:

1 - CW (stock)
1 - CCW (stock)
1 - CW (MAS)
1 - CCW (MAS)

I figured that since I technically have all the needed blades, will the bird fly, and fly well.

I think you should try it and let us know what happens.

Make sure to have a separate camera filming Solo- should make for a good "Solo crash" video.
