I have 3 batteries, all were fully charged when I left today. The location shoot was a metal bridge. I first tried to launch about 20 feet away, no dice, I moved back to as far as 100 feet. I tried pavement and also grass. Nothing would work.
Finally, with about 70% battery and 200 feet away, on asphalt, I got airborn.
Got some nice video, but my lime of sight was minimal, and even with my boosted signal, I got returned to home.
Later relocating almost under the bridge, and I mean under, I had no trouble launching from a sandy beach, and later from a campsite, all went well.
I had 10 satellites each time.
I did notice the solar flares were high today. Is that the problem?
Any comments?
