Help! Solo wont pair.

Hi I've been having some trouble with my solo, I just got it and turned it on. It said preflight update so i turned it off and got my device. Then, when i turned it back on, it would not pair. So i did a factory reset and paired it and turned it back off. Then, when powering back on. It was disconnected. Now the remote wont turn off. It turns off then turns back on. Help!
