Ok, several months ago I installed a 3.8 12MP lens in my H4B, see this thread. Report on a 3.8mm 12MP lens for the GoPro Hero 3, 3+ 4 Black Edition camera - RC Groups. Only issue is that you have to file down the front Aluminum plate a little. the three arcs that protrude from the front plate that the lens cover slides over. my issue is I filed too much, and now need to replace the front plate. And get a new lens, as i am not happy with the 3.8, it is soft on the right side. it could also mean I need to align the image sensor to the mount with a thin shim, but we'll see. My question is really, shout I get the Peau Productions lens Super Mount? If i have to dig that far in to the camera to replace the front plate, should I change the lens mount out? Or is the mount on a H4B ok for most aftermarket lenses?

Also any recommendations on a good lens that is about the same FOV as the phantoms?

Thanks
Rusty

Interesting. I've been considering trying a Peau lens finally to see what things look like without fisheye (straight from the camera that is).
With the new Linear Mode I've put off my purchase - it works well enough for my needs.

I didn´t notice any difference between "Linear" and "Medium" FOV
