Just picked up the Polar Pro Filter 3-Pack and am balancing the gimbal according to the Peau Productions guide here: Balancing Your 3DR SOLO Gimbal When Installing A Filter – Peau Productions
The filters are 6.7 grams apiece and the guide says to use two of the 6 gram weights that come with the gimbal; one in the back, top-center, and one inside the tilt motor housing.
For the times when I'm not flying in bright sunlight, I figured on using a GoPro lens protector so that I don't have to rebalance the gimbal. As far as I can tell, by searching online, these are 3 grams. 1) Can anyone confirm or correct that? 2) Is -3.7 grams on the front of the camera going to be a big deal regarding the gimbal motors?
Thanks for any input!
