Go Pro 3 + having issues with Solo ???

They (GoPro Tech) think my firmware might have gotten corrupted on my 3+. V03.00 is supposed to work with the Solo app (this is the latest version for the 3+. It was released in February of this year). I have had v03.00 on my 3+ since March. It was working with my solo when I originally got it and then it stopped working one day.

GoPro has suggested to me to do a manual re-install of the 03.00 firmware. If this doesn't work, they. Told me they would warranty the camera. I'll have to check it when my new Solo arrives. For those of you with a 3+ and having video feed problems, try what GoPro has suggested.

The easiest way to find out is to connect a mini HDMI to HDMI cable to something else. They aren't expensive and many GoPro sets even come with them. If you connect your GoPro to a TV (HDMI) and it has video... It isn't the GoPro. If it you can't make that video work, it is the GoPro. If you have GoPros, it's not a bad troubleshooting tool...
