Gimbal not found

HI all,
newbie here.

On my first attempt to use gimbal I broke off connection for goPro. Not the HDMI but that thing with many pins.
Is it any way to bypass that so I can use Gimbal without connecting to goPro? It seems that Gimbal will not start at all without being connected to goPro. I dont care if I cant start or stop video while in the air. I would like to use Gimbal just to make my video steady and to be able to tilt camera.
