So last weekend we seen some proper apocalyptic rain falling around Scotland.
Naturally, the two rivers which run through Aberdeen (The Don and The Dee) burst their banks at various locations in the surrounding area.

This is a clip just north of where I stay.
At the beginning you can see the road on the bottom right before the water starts.
This road should run through farmland to the bank opposite (where the white metal bridge is).
The volume of water is totally unprecedented - even by Scottish standards!

Good stuff Pie! Hope nobody was hurt. Solo's a great tool for documenting these things.

Haven't heard from you in awhile..

Hi Maddog,
Other than property damage, I don't believe there was any life threatening impact from the flooding.
Seems to be all back to normal now although we have the back end of the storm from the NY at the moment and getting a bit of a cold snap.

I only pop in here on occasion, probably more active over on the 3DR Solo Owners page on Facebook - more so for ease of accessibility.
