Current state of things?

Hi guys i havent flown Solo in over a year and was wondering what the latest is in terms of software and firmware. Are there any outstanding bugs with the latest updates? Is it safe to use tower? I was able to procure a handful of solo batteries since the price dropped and I'd hate to run into a problem. Is everyone still using the official solo app or is there something else these days that people are using? I don't like to blindly jump back nto things after a long pause so I was curious what the current state of affairs is with regard to solo. If I recall correctly, there were some changes with the return to home behavior and Rewind. Is there a quick document somewhere that explains how the solo buttons and functions work today in 2017?

Use the solex app.....assuming you have access to an android device. You won't be disappointed.

As Cuzman mentioned, there's Solex for Android devices, and SidePilot for iPhone users.

As mentioned, nothing has really changed. Rewind development was abandoned. But the standard RTL behavior should keep you out of trouble in most situations.
Tower works great. For autonomous missions and mapping, it's the only way to fly!
