I crashed my done last week and I've ordered a Karma. However, I'm wondering if anyone thinks the gimbal control programming would work with the Solo? The plug in from Karma is USB C, so all one should have to do is hack the gimbal control cable from the Solo into a USB C cord. If nothing else, you should get it to power up, right? You use the provided mounting ring to attach it to the standard camera mount and boom. Hero 5 action. Even if it won't control the camera, as long as you have power the gimbal should work. ..thoughts?

Unless the Karma gimbal controller speaks the exact same dialect of MAVlink AND has the same input voltage characteristics, no.

Shoot! Well I had high hopes since the Solo controls the Hero 4 Black. My alternate plan is to mount the gimbal and use the grip extension cable to mount the handle on top of the battery of the Solo.
