Just a heads up. I decided to pull it apart and replace the thermal pads with paste. It's working great for now. We'll see if the paste stays put or if I have to clean it out and order/cut new pads.

Has anyone successfully downgraded from V5? I have switched between v3 and v5 multiple times but for the life of me I can't get the camera to boot the firmware update. What gives?

Has anyone seen any solutions? Mine is so bad now that it won't even work for a single flight in 70 degree weather. Just to confirm my theory I stuck it in the freezer and it recorded 4k30 without any trouble.

Nolan, the reason people think it should be open source is because by your own statements the software can brick cameras, and yet you take no liability for damages. This would be fine if the software was open source but as soon as you charge for it you should be responsible. A similar liability...

I'm pretty similar. The only thing worth filming in my neighborhood is the sunset so I'm flying straight up to 350-390 feet without leaving the airspace directly over my own property 99% of the time.
