    Motor Pod Lights

Apologies, my issue was similar not the same. Mine did not display red. https://3drpilots.com/threads/leds-on-motor-pod-02-do-not-display-the-color-red.13270/&share_tid=13270&share_fid=1035298&share_type=t

Have you closely inspected the motor pod? By that I mean with a magnifying glass to check if any SMD resistors are missing. I had the exact issue after I accidentally bumped one off.

    Bent gimbal...

Maybe its time I throw in the towel on this one.... I double checked everything on the Gimbal like you suggested and it seemed OK. Powered it up and it started to dance. I tried to help it keep balance and then the breathing Green light turned started to blink Orange. Also, I don't recall or...

    Bent gimbal...

Thanks for the feedback Rich. I forgot to check continuity between the 4th and center pin. There also appears to be quite a bit of solder on the 4th pin on one of the boards. Perhaps this was a known issue and they slapped a bit more solder to prevent it from lifting? Considering both of these...

    Bent gimbal...

What started out a "Bent Gimbal" thread is now starting to go in slightly different direction. However, I think we might be on to something... I took reading of both boards, but I was not getting the similar results as you. Like your two boards, the readings on mine also came in close to one...

    Bent gimbal...

Thanks for the numbers Rich. I will take a look at my two boards and compare my results. One thing to already note, is that yours are very consistent with one another...give or take a few ohms. Maybe this is the key? Fingers crossed...

    Bent gimbal...

Thanks Rich. I was hoping to follow your footsteps and document things half as good as you at least. But, I have taken one step forward and two steps back.... I managed to bend the worst of the two Yaw Arms to about 95% back. It did not look that bad, but I wasn't completely satisfied...

Gimbal is erractic and will not stabalize

Correct me if I am wrong... But if one were to do this "adjustment" by holding the Roll Motor and turning the Roll Arm (or vice versa), wouldn't that mean that some thing is loose to begin with? If I am not mistaken, and I just took apart two Gimbals, the Roll Arm is secured the the Roll Motor...

    Bent gimbal...

Success...sort of. Rich, thanks for the tips and advice. I must have read your comments here and on other threads about 10 times before I went ahead and started. I had been putting off taking apart the two Gimbals and finally got around to it. Partly because I kept on thinking of a way to...

    Bent gimbal...

Thanks for explaining the use of the Guide Rod. It should definitely make it easier to see where the arm is bent, how much it is bent and how well it was able to get re-aligned (hopefully). Looks like a Rod with about 5mm should do the trick. However, it is the ribbon cables I am mostly...
