I always hold the left stick down and to the left to shut off motors. Old habit I guess. Also hold left stick down and to the right to arm motors. Have fun flying and be safe in the air. Roy

What you state is correct but only AFTER you upgrade your GoPro 4 to the latest firmware. The latest GP FW adds some features and fixes the frame rate playback problem of the Hero 4. It also does something that affects the turning on of the GP from the gimbal. I've updated and flown my Solo on...

I had a LOS and RTL kicked in and instead of climbing and flying straight home it retraces its GPS breadcrumbs per the settings. Works exactly as intended and can be very useful around large obstacles. I've been so blown away with all the 2.4 features.

Ever since I received my Solo a year ago I've been using my neck strap from my Spectrum DX7s transmitter I have. I love it and it's adjustable. The Solo neck strap is useless for the controller but maybe could hold a key ring. It's just too short and I'm not comfortable the metal components...
