    A Fishing Village from Above

Looks like a very scenic and solitary place to live. Very well done video!

    TSA and Lithium Ion Batteries?

Yes, but you have to get through TSA, before you can get to the plane/pilot. :) BTW, they never even asked me to open up the case, much less check the battery charge level. So much for our shoes and taking our laptops out! Sigh.

    TSA and Lithium Ion Batteries?

Nah.... This is an in-law run to FL for a few days. Spring break. A drone is going just not the Solo. :( Taking the Mavic instead. Much smaller and easier to travel with.

    TSA and Lithium Ion Batteries?

Ok, thanks. That's good to know. This will be my first time traveling with my drones.

    TSA and Lithium Ion Batteries?

What is the current TSA position on bringing drones and batteries either onboard, or in checked luggage when flying? What is allowed? I'd like to know before packing my gear, or even whether or not I should bring it.

    Solo Gimbal HDMI port question

Flat cable does help to reduce stress on the connector, but more importantly the gimbal.

    Leaving the group

You generally don't 'grow the herd' by attacking and killing off the weaker, or less informed young. Except in the animal kingdom. I hope we're better than that. There are a few here that can rub people the wrong way, or at least that is the tone in some of their replies. I've learned to...

    HDMI repair on gimbal?

3/27, Since you need to repair your HDMI cable, you want to consider this alternative instead. Fixes a lot of known problems with the existing stiff cable and gimbal smoothness. These products are first rate. Works as directed and not that hard to install.

You are absolutely correct. Simply not going to happen.

Anybody Else use Solo for Mostly Just Flying...?

Allen, Flying around the sky is what they're meant to do. Perfectly fine if that's what your goal is. I haven't mastered my videography yet either, but since it's 4° in Western CT this morning, flying will have to wait for warmer weather. Point is....have fun! Rick

    slow snowy scene 2.2 min

I'm guessing there's enough air turbulence around the quad that any moisture (snow flakes) that survive the area, are unlikely to be driven into the motor pods and thus causing any issues. Everything else is for the most part moisture resistant (compass, battery compartment, etc.).

    New Solo from B&H

The Pause button ONLY works in GPS lock mode. Think of it as an emergency air brake.

    New Solo from B&H

Guys, I think that's what the pause button is for. It's a built in failsafe and simply stops any horizontal movement and hovers the craft. Some may view it as a panic button. Flyaways and dropping out of the sky are rare occurrences and don't happen that often with a properly working bird.
