Take off problem - crashed twice :(

Sending the log will be the best approach, good job at doing that. They may even send you new props, if they determine that is was the Solo that malfunctioned (which it was). Or even may have to send it in for repair. 1. Did you happen to do the new update, and did it happen after the new...

    Has anyone used these filters

What is the "taco" set? I don't mind waiting if they are better in quality.

    Has anyone used these filters

What 6 pack set did you get?

    Has anyone used these filters

Just wondering if anyone has ever used these filters. Are they worth the $50? PolarPro - Frame2.0 Drone Edition 39mm Lens Filters (3-Count) - Multi

So... How are you transporting Solo?

I would but don't own the case yet. Plus was planning on making everything from the foam inserts, to the actual hard case itself (but made out of fiberglass).

Do you prefer to land Manual or Auto?

I prefer manual as I like total control over my Solo when landing. Plus automatic landing seems a bit on the hard side. I am OK with automatic take off though.

So... How are you transporting Solo?

This is what I wanted: HPRC 2700WSOL Wheeled Hard Case for 3DR Solo HPRC2700WSOL B&H but might end up making my own case, as this is not the layout I wanted. Plus looking to support at least 5 batteries.

    Don't transport with battery attached?

Wow, dog at the foam and the cat went after the prop. You have some evil animals, attacking a poor defenseless drone.

    Don't transport with battery attached?

I ended up keeping the Solo battery divider that was in the packing, just for that reason. You can always cut out some cardboard or foam board and place inside, if you really want to keep the battery in with the Solo.

    Leg present in 4K video

Will check that as well. I only noticed it when reviewing the footage.

    Leg present in 4K video

I will try the angle bit, see if that helps. I do know the gimbal is seated properly as I was really meticulous about getting the cables tucked in and the gimbal base firmly planted into the Solo. With all edges being smooth with the Solo body.

    Recording Audio

Yup like Acroduster said. Those blades will pretty much drown out anything you are trying to capture audio on. Fireworks do come out pretty good, if you are close enough. Though you may need to do some post editing to maybe help with the noise. In the end, it may be too much work than it is...

    Gimbal not found

I did have the problem before. Noticed I had to turn on the controller FIRST, then wait a sec then turn on the Solo.

    Leg present in 4K video

would be great to help out fellow Solo flyers. Best of all "or not", I would end up testing the legs first to make sure the Solo will not crash. Plus at work we have a scale that can measure in grams, so I can tell if the legs are just the slightest bit heavier or lighter.

    tablet/phone attachment

Here is images of my controller, hope this helps. Looks like you are missing the nut with threads to tighten it to the controller. Check your Solo packing it came in. If anything and you "can't" find it. Take the arm part that has the threaded bolt to Home Depot or Lowes. Match up a nut...
