Have had that happen at times with the camera feed. Try: Turn on the camera after the Solo has fired up and connected with SidePilot. Sometimes just quitting and restarting SidePilot is enough.

The GoPro Hero 4 Black, but the Silver works as well, just a few grams heavier with the screen.
