I ended up just replacing the entire gimbal. If I knew how to solder, I guess I could have reattached the HDMI connector to the circuit board, but that would have been like teaching a pig how to blow bubbles... not gonna happen...

Update for anyone who's interested... Took the gimbal off to look around and the HDMI cable had been ripped from the motherboard, which was surprising because that appeared to be he only damage from the crash. Even the prop blades weren't damaged. Paid the $150 idiot tax for a new gimbal and...

Had a minor mishap yesterday and now I can't get my live video feed to work any more. The GoPro is working fine and I can control everything via the Solo app or Solex, just flying blind. It looks as though all the cables are connected on the gimbal. Any troubleshooting steps people can...

I know it's possible using the Solex App (which I just downloaded), but sticking with something that I am familiar with for some night photography tomorrow night, is there a way to turn off the LED lights on Solo using the 3DR app? The lights are bleeding into my night shots, and short of duck...

VERY nice. What software do you use to create the panorama? It looks like roundme.com is only for display... I would like to create some 360-panoramas like that from my solo, but also from a series of pictures from the cockpit of our jet. Would be very cool... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hi All- Fairly new to the Solo, but love it so far... I have had a couple of minor crashes early on and now my Solo always seems like it's flying very wobbly. I read a few threads that this is common at high speeds (which I see as well), but even when I'm hovering, it is still very wobbly...
