I use an app AZ Screen Recorder when flying my solo and you can enable audio recording. I've never tried the audio part yet.

You need a 1.5mm hex driver. There are 2 set screws per motor you need to check. Maybe its loose.

Can someone post weight of the stock solo hdmi cable and the Relish3d cable? Thanks!

I can't get GPS lock Oct 15 at a new location then where I usually fly. At first I thought it was the shade cast by the early sun raise, move it away from a shaded area try again and nothing. Waited at lease 5 mins nothing. So, I did a compass calibration, power cycle it once and its works. GPS...

I've been using something like that 1st week of owning the solo. Its DIY using dollar tree black foam board and 3x zoom fresnel lens from ebay. Its like headplay hd for my Samsung Note3.

An easier way would be flip the solo upside down on a flat table, the pan axis part should be centered in the opening. If its offset in any direction then the wires is pushing against the solo interior body. Now flip it sideways, top down and bottom down. The gravity should pull it stright down...

90 percent of the time I hand grab the under belly of the Solo just behind the gimbal. Twice I had fine dust stuck my controller stick and freak me out for a second, so pretty much never land on ground any more. The times I use auto land is to show my friend that it can auto land.

I added the big 6g weight that cames with the 3dr gimbal to the back of the gimbal. Look carefully at the back of the gimbal there are mounting holes pre threaded, the weight just screwed on. I added some blue thread lock. And another 5g of lead weight shrink wrap and double side tape to the end...

I was playing with the changing radius and altitude. Want to see how it auto aimed the shot. I did notice that the gimbal pan to right when it enter the orbit and returne to center when it exit the orbit. Maybe its trying to get the leg out of the shot. I had fun doing it.

I think HDMI seems fine, just have to make sure its adjust properly. The gimbal data cable is really stiff , so kind of have to bend and shape it carefully so it don't interfere with gimbal movement. Make sure gimbal data cable don't touch the front of the body shell.

im thinking maybe the pan axis motor is rubbing against the pcb board.

Remove the prop. and flip the solo up side down to see if the gimbal is centered. 1st time I assemble the gimbal it was offset to the rear. Gimbal data cable is very stiff and pushing it against the front of the body shell. Place the solo on flat surface make sure gravity is not pulling it sideways.

Have you try place the solo with camera pointing north then power up solo, controller and app.
