I don't think the Galaxy Tab and the Note 101 are the same thing, are they? Though you may be able to load the same flavor on both, not sure. I have rooted and loaded Tab 7 with varying success.

The Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 2 was released in 2012 and only supports up to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Solo app requires Android 4.3 plus.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that control is being sent on 2.4 and video is being sent at 5.8. The power setting is more than likely adjusting the power of the Vtx from around 200mw...I'm guessing.

Not familiar with the signal for Solo. But in RC, my Spektrum DX18 Transmitter and Receiver in the plane/heli will use multiple 2.4 channels and constantly switch if it detects interference. With all the Wi-Fi devices around and other things on 2.4Ghz I would be surprised if our signal is not...
