I had the same issue and after getting with 3dr service I sent it in for replacement. mine took about 4 weeks to get replaced. The second one works good.

I think it came out on the 5th and I had the gimbal flop on the 7th but hadn't updated yet. After the update it went away. I haven't flown it but one day for about an 1 1/2 hr since. So i really haven't put it thru the paces yet. I have another drone I use a lot too. Solo firmware update...

I bought mine straight from 3DR after waiting for so long for retailers to stock it. Their website says it can take 4 to 6 weeks to get ( at least it did 6 weeks ago when i bought the original one) the gimbal but i actually got it in under 2 weeks. The replacement took about 4 weeks.

I think that was an awesome job of editing and they way you put it together. Great job!

I had the same problem. I was able to see vids but no link or control for gimbal. Don't waste any time get with 3dr and send it back for replacement. Takes about 3 to 4 weeks.

That's great! I just spent the last couple of hours researching half a dozen ways to geotag GP images on the solo. I'll have to check out the update..
