Epson Moverio BT-300

Do the Google glasses stay on your face? Can you watch the telemetry on your wifi attached phone or tablet while using the glasses ?
If I can use the glasses and monitor telemetry I would be really interested!
How much did do the gogles run? Does it work with a 720p signal ?

These aren't Google Glasses, they are the Moverio BT-300 glasses. Basically like an Android mobile phone, but without the phone part, just wifi or USB connection, that are viewed through glasses. They project the screen image into both eyes, which is much better than the single-eye glasses out there, like Google Glasses. What you see is like a screen shot view of your app sort of in a heads-up display fashion. The benefit of these glasses is that you can see through the app to also watch your drone as you fly it. So you can see the camera view, and also look through the camera view to see your drone and what's around it. It's a great concept, but this version has some downsides, too. Unlike other visual devices such as FPV goggles, you can't change the inter-pupil distance on the lenses. For me, it's been difficult getting the full screen in my view. Also, being nearsighted, I had to get prescription lenses to be able to use them (~$200). They have a nose-bridge insert to allow use of your own glasses underneath the BT-300, but when I used that I had to have the BT-300 rest almost on the tip of my nose to work, and then I had a tunnel-vision view of the screen. These are very useful, giving me the ability to watch both my app screen and my drone as it's flying. I imagine future versions will rectify issues such as fixed inter-pupil distance. To be honest, I'm only using these glasses on my DJI drones, as the glasses come with the DJI app pre-installed. All Solo apps would have to be side loaded on this device and I'm not sure that would work with the 3DR app. It should work with Tower, and maybe Solex.
