Built hex and quads with APM 2.6 (predecessor to Pixhawk) and Pixhawk.
Also other controllers including:
Naza 1 & 2
YS-X4
EagleTree Vector

Pixhawk was my favorite of the above.

well it should be fun, found out my soldering skills are lacking so need to practice up.
waiting on a bit more wire and bullets before I tear into it.
this is going to be an x8 on a tarot frame. Using mostly 3dr X8 bits
going to be a lot to stuff into the frame.

have 250 Racer, Tarot Hexa, Little Spyder (Avatar) based on Pixhawk, Pixfalcon. My Heli Align 550L based on pixracer, still testing the flight performance in 3D and Hover with heli with Codebase: Dev. Master 3.4

Building a quadcopter on my own frame, with Qbrain Quadro ESC 20 A flashed BLheli, 2215 750KV motors. Hopfully embeded SF10, HD19 on tilt gimbal, boscam 600mW video 5,8 transmiter, MinimOSD. Spektrum satellite for DX18, 3DR telemetry 433Mhz (old version), one servo control (dropping tennis ball ;-).
