I never quite understood the 'we won't be making hardware' statements really, with respect to moving to SiteScan as their main product. It's still a Solo. With the current low price upping the number of 'general' owners why wouldn't you take the oportunity to continue to support such a growing customer base? Spares, why not even a new GP5 compatible gimbal?

What do you think - if anything - we should read into this?
 
Well, in the Tweet he says they're all sold already, so I don't think I'd read much anything until it.

Makes you wonder though. Is it old stock repackaged as SiteScan - 'making them' could mean alot if things.

If I was investing in SiteScan as a business I'd want to know all about support and longevity to plan my required return.

3DR must have something to say to SiteScan buyers - but not to loyal early adopters?

I should stop trying to figure any of it out and just buy some more spares....
