what is the correct startup sequence for Solo with a gimbal and Camera

what is the correct power up sequence with Solo, Gimbal, and Hero 4 camera?

I do not know if this is correct:

1. power on my Samsung pad
2 .power on controller
2. solo

each time that I do this, I also have to power on my camera, because the record button on my controller is not enable.

3. I have to then push the power on button on my Hero 4, then I see the record button enable on my Samsung Galaxy pad 4

is the camera record on my pad that is the issue.....

I guess what I am asking what is the correct sequence of power up Solo?

You've got it right. The GoPro must be on to enable its tablet functions.

I start up in this order:

Build Solo & attach gopro
turn on remote
turn on gopro
turn on solo
start app on android

I've also always wondered if this is the correct order. Seems to work for me. A couple times I've forgotten to turn on the gopro, in which case I find I have to power down solo, turn on the gopro, then power solo back up.

I've found if I try to turn on the gopro while the solo is on it simply blinks and beeps but the on screen display does not come on. It may work in the app, but the gopro looks to be off. This seems buggy to me, so I've never flown like this. I always power down solo, then power on the gopro, then turn solo back on.

Power down sequence:

land solo
power off solo (this turns off gopro automatically)
exit app
power off remote
tear down solo

3. turn on Controller
4. connect tablet to Sololink wifi
5. launch Solo app

I've tried a number of different sequences and they all seem to work as long as the app is loaded last, since it needs to access everything that's powered on.
