So, how many of you are going to march right up to the DMV and register your drone today? My guess is you will get a funny look when you ask at the counter for a drone registration. Also, and I'm guessing here, but you will have to pay for this registration just so the state now knows you have a drone?

it's not a state-level initiative. It is a federal-level initiative. It won't happen at the DMV, but rather at the FSDO.
