They will filter out prop shadows caused by the sun shining through the props onto the camera lens. Prop balancing would be the first thing I would do if you haven't already. Lots of threads here and videos on YouTube covering that and other things to do to smooth out your footage. I watched it again but didn't see anything that concerned me "shakey-wise".
