I am a Kiwi travelling across the ditch and will purchase a spare battery for my Solo. A lot cheaper by approx $100.
My questions are.... what state of charge are new batteries X the retailer ?
.....how can i safely discharge to under 30% without Solo ?
.....have any of my Aussie cousins flown to NZ with Air Asia and had any problems carrying batteries ?
Love my Solo, getting braver with every flight

You can get batteries in heaps of places. HN always seems to have them in stock. From what I can gather they are about 40% charged out of the box. Keep each of the batteries in a separate sealed plastic bag in carry on luggage at all times is my suggestion for international flying.

Thank you, yes HN seems to be best price too.
