Mikrotik Wifi with Amps

I just bought a solo and ordered an couple of Sanhaus amps. Currently also thinking of upgrading the wifi cards to the Mikrotiks.

I read through some old threads that seem to indicate that the higher output from the Mikrotiks might fry the amps (amps take in about 23dbs while the Mikrotiks put out 30db, not sure if the solo controller limits output).

Has anyone here have experience with using Mikrotiks with an amped antenna? Are you using attenuators? Which ones? Are 3db attenuators going to do the job?

Another quick thought: will adjusting the TX compliance country in the Solo APP help to limit the wifi card output to 20db? Does it even make sense to do that, i.e. will that mean losing the advantage of using the mikrotiks v stock?
