When I activate a smart mode (selfie, orbit, cable cam, etc) the map appears on the entire page and then keeps flickering back and forth between the map and the video image feed. Has anyone seen this or have any suggestions? Also, how do I keep the map on just the right third of the screen and not the whole page? Do you think the the flickering back and forth between the video image and the map is a glitch of my tablet? I am using a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S (10.5 inches, I used a drill bit to enlarge the spring tracks inside the device holder). Otherwise everything appears to be working good, except the occasional loss of link overhead of my position or when I get too far, but then I regain link and press FLY and everything is good again. I am very happy with the solo except the flicker of the map and video thing. Any inputs would be appreciated.

How about updating your Galaxy Tab 4 to Android 5.1 and see if that solves the problem?

Well, after successfully installing the solo app (thanks to this forum) on my Lenovo tablet (4.4.2), and none of the same issues I'm not sure.
Saturday was my first time using the smart modes. I was trying out Cable Cam and experienced the same flickering or bouncing between map and video. I too use a galaxy tab pro 8.4. I need to find out what's up with that.
I've been experiencing the same problems using my Samsung Galaxy Pro Tab 8.4. I thought it might be a setting on my GoPro Hero 4 (black) but after multiple changes, the jittery video feed is still there whenever I go into the Shot List and select any of the smart shots. From the other responses I'm seeing in this forum, it seems to be a Samsung issue. I'll try it tomorrow using my iPad Mini and see if the problem is still there.
I just completed some flight testing today on this issue and although I can duplicate this problem consistently with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro, everything works perfectly when using my iPad Air or my Samsung Note 4. My Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro software is up to date so I'm not sure where the incompatibility is with this Samsung Tablet.
