i flew mine on july 4th and it lost signal around 220 and it started flying towards the artillery shell that was already in the sky. barely missed it by a foot or two. i didn't know what to do.Took my solo up 200ft and lost signal but I was partly under my garage and I have wifi in my home. Which I assume interfere with signal strength. Solo did its thing and hovered in place til I could step away from any interference. My heart stop for awhile
I got a bunch of signal lost today with an overcast day. It kept popping in and out during all my flights. As low as 30ft and high as 150ft. First time so far.

when it loses signal what does it do ?
when it loses signal what does it do ?
Ryan,It goes into Manual mode, which is similar to GPS, but it won't just hover in place. It will move with the wind, so you have to be aware of all the conditions. it's still safe (so people say) and it recovered over and over again (it had 12+ sats the whole time too, which was weird, or at least everytime I looked down at it it did).
I AM on the OLDER firmware, as I don't want to update and brick anything.

It takes several minutes. When the controller goes dead it seems like a long time, 2 minutes or so. When it comes back up and says press "A" to continue, at that point you have to have your tablet connected to Solo wifi. That's the part I goofed on but everything worked out. If it bricks, they will replace it.I will update it tomorrow. I will let you guys know what happens.

You could try something like these: http://goo.gl/18sg1Z
Have you tried these? If so, how much did they increase your range?
