By my understanding, we should be able to change the encoding in the Solo to 1080p. It will be at a higher latency and use more bandwidth but the hardware looks like it can cope. Has anyone played with this yet or know which file holds the config for video encoding. It would be really nice to be able to output 1080p on the HDMI port, even with high latency, it means it can be used for live broadcast"

"Hi, I'm one of the devs behind the guide.1080p is a definite option, and we're just looking for ways to integrate it into the guide effectively. (It requires swapping out a kernel driver.) And the HERO 5 will have an option to output 1080P
