Good information. I believe those are for hobby multirotors. Commercial drone flying is more expensive. I use Verifly for commercial flying, because I purchase it by the hour and only purchase when I need it. It's like $10 per hour for $1M in coverage, if I recall correctly. You use your phone app to start and stop the insurance timer, and it covers 1/4 mile radius from the GPS location of the phone when you start it. I believe those parameters are adjustable, which also affects cost.

Thanks Max! You are correct - our base policy is $1m liability and 1/4 mile radius with the price starting at $10 / hour. We will shortly be rolling out options to increase the area (1/2 mile radius), the time period (4-hour and 8-hour policies) and the liability limit ($2.5m).

We also just launched in Missouri. The Show Me State launch puts Verifly live in 47 / 50 states!
