I know you can't get "publishable" video without a gimbal, but I do wonder how many people just use the camera for FPV purposes only...ie...to be able to see what the Solo sees. That's actually what I am finding that I do. I don't want to spend the time to capture footage, edit and produce a "real" video. I just take them straight out of the camera and watch them...that's it.

Its good without the gimbal. Timelapse photos are fine. A Hero 4 black will serve you better new or used.
