Took my solo down to the local airport. Nobody was there so I flew it around the traffic pattern and did a touch and go. Fortunately the airport has been closed for 10 years now

Yep. I'm too cheap to buy a 3.97. No need for my casual purposes.

That's indeed 4K-30, with auto everything. No post stabilization at all. In fact there are parts where I spend the video up to 200% in post and it still didn't look shakey. It was very stable without any extra work. Even with wind.

I would love to try this on a carrier. But I'm not sure I would get past the CIWS.

Didn't mean your cheap LOL, i thought I been reading several post about the 3.97 from you?
I bought the 3.80 for $60 from Jubalr ii was a year ago & i like it.
I don't have a 3/97. but if i had to guess, it's about 12% better video/
