Drone Registration

I logged on and registered my Solo on the 21st. Somehow I expected they would want to know what kind of drone I owned and the serial number of the unit. Not so! After my name and address were entered and I acknowledged their list of rules, all they needed was my credit card info. I ended up using peel & stick letters/numbers under the battery to affix my FAA number. I'm curious about drone rules/registration outside the good 'ol money-hungry USA

So, if I am currently a drone hobbyist, but plan on going commercial, should I go with hobbyist thru the website, or commercial with the paper application?

Wouldn't hurt to do both I'd think-- this new reg + the 8050 route.
