On the way home from work I spotted a fire. Close to the big Bastrop fire of 2010. This one started in Buescher State Park. Last I heard it had already burned 250 acres and was 10 percent contained....I added my graveyard run I did Sunday.

Nice job, Raybro. Yours is a lesson to some of the idiots flying in Ca. on how to safely and responsibly get footage of fires. You don't have to get close enough to interfere with firefighters to get the picture across.

Is it just me or is it moving towards where you are flying from?
The first video was set at medium frame, 2nd at narrow which makes it look closer. It has definitely covered a wider area. Also day 1 the winds were out of the North, day 2 they started blowing out of the South.
Third fire in 6 years for that area. The second was the worst and burned for several months.

Let's hope this one is put out quickly. Here in Ca., with the fires we have had and the rain expected this fall and winter, we will be the mudslide capitol of the west.
