but I was just wondering if there are any other stores I can buy it from preferably here in Canada?

It is not required at all. If you are having problems getting a good, reliable GPS signal, it is an option you can try.

I have the old Rev A and it would only get 6-9 GPS signals inside when I put the mRo GPS NEO-M8N in the bird even inside I then got 12 signals.
Even better yet, when I tested it outside on takeoff I immediately was getting 17 on signals. Flying the Solo it registered 24 and when first starting
the solo with this GPS it was syncing up in about 15 seconds verses minutes with the stock GPS so it is worth the money!
