It’s been awhile since used my 3dr, I’m using the side pilot app and updated to the 4.0. Everything else is stock. Do you guys recommend doing anything else before flying and using my GoPro/gimbal… I don’t plan on going crazy with it, just filming some scenery.

The solo is in good shape, just the props arnt the best, but I have others... so this is coulda happen again and again? Nothing to fix it has been done? First come first serve on refurbs lol

I finally got it the other day, haven't flown it yet but the body looks in decent shape but the props they send me look like they just went through war.... hoping I don't have this issue again... going to get that gps shield, any other upgrades you could recommend?

What's a GPS shield? I'm wanting to do some upgrades on mine( so this doesn't happen again) but not sure what's available or what I should even do

Solo has finally resolved this by sending me a new one, surely it will be a refrub tho

Does the android have to be actived, like on a plan? Or will one without service work?

I'm such a newbie in all of this I didn't know you could upgrade things...

I also wonder when I send mine back and they see the body is cracked, will they say it was my fault? Even tho its been flown 6 times since the wreck...

So is there something we can do to advoid this from happening??

That's what I did, changed battery and boom! I had about 6 flight on it. I got a FedEx label, hoping when I send it back they send me a new one.

Ok I tried leaving alone when I powered it on, it allowed me to do the compass calibration but it will won't allow me to do level calibration, won't let me fly or start motors

So turn on solo, and don't move it for a few mins, then turn on controller? I've tried turning it on and not moving it, then when the app connects I try to calibrate levelness... the app still says error and the controller says calibration error in red.

I was flying solo just fine then I landed to changed batteries. I changed the battery and now it says calibration error.... everytime I try to the leveling calibration it says it fails!!! Please help me! I've only flown this about 6 times... I did wreck it once but it has been flown 4 times...
