I have done that many of times and it seem to still take forever. I even did a compass caliberation as well. Not sure if had do do something with the connection to the go pro. I even turn off the go pro while search for gps. Just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem I am having.

Got done loading every thing up on the tablet and lg cell phone (app wise). The new app as well as the update for the controller. But now it seem like it take forever to get a GPS lock. Has anybody else hdd this problem

I am sure you need a cellular network. I don't it once. But I used my phone that has gps cellular network. That's what I had to do. I am still wait for the new update with boat mode.

erikgraham, Can you give me some insight on how I can change the parameter on the geofence and RTH. Next question to that after I fly back on land I will need to change those parameter back to normal correct? Where I am looking to do the follow me I in no need to worry about tree or structure...

I will have to try that myself. I have a spot where I been flying that only allows me about 750 feet before I lose connection and starts the rth.

As we all know. It takes a little bit to re-establish connection and it only when it almost back to on rth. From what I have expienced so far.

I hear a few things about tower. Where is a good tutorial on learning tower and start utilizing it capabilities

Hello folks.... I posted a similar thread... Here is my scenario... I would love to do a follow me out of my boat while I am going up the river. My concern here is this... If I lost connectivity with remote solo will return to home and land am I correct on this. I surely don't want it...

With that being said.... If I was to launch 3dr from my boat and go into follow me mode. Would it be better to go into advance settings and turn that on. In the event I lost connectivity to solo would it just hover there instead of making a return trip to home and trying to land?
