I have no way of knowing, but I would think the 3d gimbal will have the better interface with the GoPro and supply you with telemetry and HD video ATST. There's a port on the side of the newer GP's, thus you need a newer model.

I haven't heard anything from B&H. Kind of an unusual silence.

Do anyone happen to know how many it requires and if we can use 3rd party battery stuff? It would be great to be able to read a manual for this bird. It would answer a bunch 'o questions. :-)
