Why take off without gps lock ? You then have your return to home some where in the air to me that's the safety issue.

My solo has the same issues. Not all the time but at the most inconvenient times. Frustrating

Mine has the same symptoms. It seems to work fine but if I select orbit it will go limp and a solid red light will appear on the gimble.

Will the flight sim for the 3dr solo ever eventuate ?? It would be a great tool to learn smart shots without the worry of copter in the air.

It must be an android thing my apple devices work just fine.
