3dr read my logs and said it is the compass. said they would send a new one, but that was 8 weeks ago or longer.

I submitted a troubleshooting request to solo. fairly quick response by Santiago said I need a new compass and that they would supply it free if I submitted proof of purchase. I did so and they acknowledged it, but weeks have passed and no new compass has arrived. So...... is there a source...

twk01 Thanks for your reply. how thick is the foam and by underside i assume full coverage of the body of the drone?

I have read all the prior threads in here about Magnetic interference. Nowhere is a solution identified. I had the problem for the first time today. does this mean all of us have useless Solos?

3dr has been providing the update firmware (version 2 go pro) and when installed you will have streaming video. you cannot turn the gopro on or off from the app. the gimbal is fully functional. just email 3dr and ask for it.

so I have a Hero3+ Silver and I have tried everything mentioned in this thread and others and still my camera shuts down after 3 seconds.....without fail. is the solution a Black?
