The Solo will RTH when it loses connection; when gets signal again you can regain control by pressing FLY.

Yes, you can connect two devices at once. Now I just use the android for both and toggle back and forth between solo app and tower.

I started off with solo app on iPhone, then went to tower on android. Also downloaded solo onto android and just using the android. John

anyone know why I keep losing the map background on the Tower App. I will have it for a mission then it goes away and I can't get it to come back up.

Hi, Try to cycle (turn on battery) without being connected to the solo. If it comes on, turn off then reinsert into solo and try. If it does not come on outside of solo, it might be a problem with the battery. Do you have a spare?

Welcome to Hell. Just kidding! I have been a DJI and CC3D pilot and I am new to 3DR myself. So far I have enjoyed flying the solo, of course there have been a couple of hick ups but no show stoppers. Just take your time and learn the flying characteristics before you go to advance flight modes...

I'm using an iPhone 6 plus as well. I started of with a pelican voyager case and it would not fit so I returned the case and I'm still shopping around for a thin case. iPhone fits well by itself but I always feel like it's gonna pop out....

Has anyone caught wind of a Mission Planner App for Solo? I know some people are using Tower but I don't want to risk the lack of guarantee with using it.
