    Hawaii!

Sorry about that. I should have given it more time before posting the link. It's good to go now.

    Hawaii!

Here is a video my wife and I made for one of our groups. It's not ALL Solo footage, but you might find it interesting how I've integrated the drone footage with this Video for our clients. The theme we chose (long ago) for the group is "Jump!", hence all the references in the video. Hawaii...

    Flashing Lights?

Cool. And where did you get those folding leg extensions?

    Flashing Lights?

Sounds great. Looking forward to more news on that.

    Flashing Lights?

That is something you tested yourself? That's a long way. I assume the red is visible laterally? I ask because it can be a great way to know which way your drone is facing form a long way off.

    Solo Battery leakage?

So I thought. But is there some way the lithium is suspended? Dry cell & alkaline batteries have a kind of paste inside them. THe battery was totally soaked in oil when it arrived, unless there was something I didn't notice in the bubble wrap when I packed it, that's just strange. The other...

    Flashing Lights?

I'm interested. Do you know what the visibility range is in day/night? Also, will the red strobe be visible from below?

    Solo Battery leakage?

Very strange. I wiped it clean, then stood the battery on end, and not a drop or sign of oil in the past 2 days.

    Flashing Lights?

This is the voltage drop I got: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H7KTRO6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Flashing Lights?

Sure, I had to get a voltage dropper (on Amazon) that dropped the voltage down to a safe level. Inside, I connected the leads to the battery leads, and added a switch, so I can turn the strobe on & off. I'd send you pictures but it's literally on the other side of the world (I have a...

    Solo Battery leakage?

I sent myself 3 Solo batteries from one part of Australia to another. They were very well packed, but upon arrival one of the 3 batteries was doused in an oily substance. Have you ever heard of a Solo battery leaking in that way? Any thoughts on this?

    Flashing Lights?

Hey Nick, I wouldn't bother. It draws a very small amount of power, and I have not noticed any difference in flight time with 2 of them. The only problem is the Solo's voltage is higher than the strobes will tolerate (I think up to 12 volts) so you need to drop the voltage so as not to burn...

    Gimbal issue

Between recent trips out of the U.S., I changed my gimbal to a different (new) chassis. The original chassis had ESC/motor issues, and as I only had a few days between trips, I made a fast switch and put the gimbal on a new chassis. Without flying, when I fired up the new chassis with the old...

When did they change the rules here?

Great info, thanks. I'm used to Australia and the U.S. and need to be careful not to assume.
