With that said, do we have any Linux Gurus on here, or folks who have experience with Edison or other companion computers?
Got my Edison yesterday and cant get the droneapi on it.
Managed to get Ubilinux on board but nothing beyond that. It keeps running out or space.
Several folks are having the same problem

Just got my Edison installed in the PH2 including wifi config for ssh shell into Edison / PH2
the image includes mavproxy and I am able to run the console in putty
now to learn how to program this thing

the instructions have been updated on ardupilot for installing the Edison including a flash for the chip.
the video and instructions are heavy mac Linux. But I got it done on a windows machine, shout if you need help

Are the Pixhawk 2.1's on sale now? I seem to remember late January as the arrival of new stock.

I can't wait to get that sexy beast onto my large Y6. Especially that do-everything carrier board.

did you see the latest asp flash for edison?
its in ardu docs now
the first beta flash creates a wifi network on pixhawk so you can connect directly to it over wifi
this was the base product that they are building future functionality to.
