I just read this thread from 3 years ago so I started looking things up for myself but I dont think Im looking for the right things.

In my understanding, 3 years ago (and probably to this day) Philippines' been taxing people entering the country with their drones. I tried to find a more updated report about the taxations but I only get the flight rules from CAAP. Like no flying more than 400ft for example.

Anyways here is the link I saw:

philippines travel warning

Im still not sure of what the updated drone rules are now in the Philippines but my flight to PH is going to be in 3 weeks. I really want to bring my Solo but I don't want to have it with me and pay an extra $500 (from what I read) just for the tax and still requires me to get a certificate and whatever it is that needs to be done.

Id appreciate the explanations!
