Been to P.I. many times in the Navy. Of course that was largely Olongapo and an occasional trip to Manila. During those times, there was no crime known to man that didn't exist in Olongapo City, but I think they cleaned up that area after the Navy moved out.

Manila sounds like the Killing Fields right now. Talk about tough on crime!
