Vehicle not detected, looking for Solo

I have a note 5 that used to connect flawlessly to the controller, and my solo before the last update. Now the solo and the note 5 both connect to the controller without issue, but the note 5 with the solo app keeps saying, vehicle not detected, looking for solo. I've tried every combination of starting the controller, the solo, and the app in different orders and it makes no difference. I have an iPad air that connects to everything without issue, but I'd rather use The note 5 because of the size. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Could you go to your wifi settings and see what it says? Also, which version is your phone on (5.1, 6.0, etc).
