I have a Gopro Hero 2 and like the protune image. If I fly blind, I can connect the Atomos Ninja Star (230g with battery) to the HDMI output.
Not sure how the Solo with react to Gimbal + GoPro + the weight of the Ninja Star.
Anyone tried adding extra gear to accessory bay while using GoPro and Gimbal ?

The accessory area is roughly 7.6 cm wide x 13.3 cm long x 10.2 cm deep.
Maximum payload of the system is 700g, the 3DR Gimbal + GoPro weigh approximately 390g, leaving 310g for accessories that are meant to be used with the 3DR Gimbal.
From another post :-
The GoPro 2 99g is the same width as the GoPro 3 74g but it's depth is much deeper which will throw the gimbal out of balance.

This may be an advantage since by default we use a weight balance at the rear anyway. If I push the gp2 to the rear I can adjust the balance properly.
