Has anyone been successful in connecting a GP5 Black via the Solo's HDMI (no gimbal) and be able to use a SmartRemote to trigger photos or videos while getting a live video feed through the Solo, the Solo app and the tablet/phone?
GoPro support is telling me NO, no SmartRemote control while the camera is monitoring via hdmi.
From GoPro: "James our team is currently working for this type of concern but we don't have any work around that can provide as this needs to be tested first."
Seems like there should be a work around (maybe one on the way).
Buy a cheap second camera as a monitor?
